How to import passwords from Chrome to Proton Pass
Proton Pass has built-in support for importing your passwords and other data from the Chrome browser. The process for this has two stages.
First, you must export your Google Chrome passwords.
Once you’ve downloaded the passwords, you’re ready to import them to Proton Pass.
How to import to Proton Pass on your browser extension
1. Open the Proton Pass browser extension and select ☰ → Settings.
2. Go to the Import tab, select Chrome from the dropdown Provider list, and either drag the .csv file you exported to the File box, or click the Choose a file or drag it here button to manually select it using your system’s file manager. Select your Google Chrome passwords and click Import when you’re done.
How to import to Proton Pass on iOS
- Select the profile icon.
- Select Import to Proton Pass.
- Select Import from Chrome.
